3 REALLY GOOD RECIPES FROM JADE THE GREEN VEGAN

Need a healthy inspiration for your diet? Here are 3 really good recipes inspired by Jade. These recipes are vegan, but are recommended even if youre not vegan because they are really good and good for you. Heres your challenge, try one of these at least once per week.One is a healthy vegan dinner, one is a raw vegan desert and one is a smoothie.

SUPERFOOD PIZZA

Ingredients

  • 1 whole wheat seeded tortilla wrap
  • 2 table spoons garlic olive oil
  • 3 table spoons pasata
  • 1 table spoon sundried tomato paste
  • 1/4
  • red onion
  • 1/4 red pepper
  • 2 mushrooms
  • 1 handful spinach leaves
  • 1 handful kale
  • 1 table spoon mixed seeds
  • Handful Daiya/ Vegusto/ other vegan cheese alternative (optional)

Instructions

  • Chop red onion and red pepper into thin slices and then place on a baking tray and drizzle 1 table spoon of garlic oil on top
  • Roast in a preheated oven at 250 degreed for 25 minutes
  • Place tortilla wrap on a baking tray covered in baking paper
  • Spread 1 table spoon of garlic oil evenly over base
  • Mix pasata and sundried tomato paste together and then cover evenly over base
  • Place roasted vegetables and mushrooms on top
  • Grate vegan cheese and sprinkle on top (optional)
  • Place in a preheated to 180 degrees oven for 4 minutes
  • Remove and add kale
  • Place back in the oven for 1 minute
  • Remove and add spinach and sprinkle mixed seeds over the top

RAW VEGAN CHOCOLATE AND BANANA ICECREAM 

Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 13 frozen bananas
  • 11 and a half tablespoons of raw organic cacao powder (I use this one)
  • 1Optional: berries to use as a topping
  • Instructions
  • Freeze 3 bananas for at least 2 hours
  • Remove banana from the freezer, chop into chunks, and remove the skin (I find running them under cold water for a couple of seconds makes them easier to cut)
  • Place chopped bananas in the blender with the cacao and almond milk
  • Blend for about 30 seconds or until smooth
  • Serve either on its own or topped with berries & enjoy!

GREEN SMOOTHIE

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 apple
  • 15 grapes
  • 1 handful of spinach
  • 1 cup almond milk (or any other non-dairy milk)
  • 1 teaspoon spiralina powder
  • 1 teaspoon maca powder
  • Instructions
  • Chop the bananas into small chunks
  • Place all ingredients in the blender
  • Blend for approximately 2 minutes or until smooth
  • Enjoy!
